If a person had a police report filed against them but no charges pressed, will that show up on a background check?
Answer:
No, BUT
If you are arrested (even if found not guilty/charges dropped) the court dockets are made available to the public.
Typically for employment the employer just runs a background check for convictions. If you have never been convicted of a crime then you will not have a criminal record.
