Windfarms can you claim compensation?

if a wind farm is to be built near your home and your house value drops can you claim for compensation from any where / anyone ???
Answer:
no
Who votes for this muppet to have a nuclear station built in their back yard...
i thought windfarms were supposed to be a good thing?
advertise your house for sale in 'green lovers weekly' and im sure you'll make a nice healthy profit.
Probably not. To be compensated you would have to show that it unreasonably interfered with your use of your land.

Why the heck would the property value drop. It doesn't pollute, it doesn't make noise.

I understand why a coal fired powerplant would cause property values to drop but not a windmill.
im sorry but i think that windfarms look far more attractive to look at than big electricity pylons running through miles of fields and hills! and its more economic!
What? Oh Please its about time they built more windfarms. Save the planet!!
God bless the brits! moaning bunch of hypocrits
NOT IN MY BACK YARD

Before not too long every house will have one on the chimney
