Why is it that adult men are less likely to get sexual/reproductive health care services than adult women?

level of insurance coverage are similiar but women are more likely to be covered by Medicaid. Why is it?

I don't think it's fear so much as male pride, being tough both emotionally as well as physically.

I remember my fiance telling me repeatedly that his dad was the kind of guy who, if he managed to cut his thumb off, would duct tape it back on, finish what he was doing, and then drive himself to the hospital. O_o

I'm not sure how true it is, but it certainly explains a lot about the male psyche, doesn't it? They don't want to appear weak; they can "take care of themselves."
