Why is the senior pastor (church founder) drawing $8000 while average middle class earning $2500?

Charities and church organizations collected money from donors and church members based on worthy causes which unlike corporations have to justify their survival through sales and earning.

Where do most of the church fund goes to from the montjhly 10% collections from church members? To expand the pool of more members so that more funds can be collected? personal glory and power or really for God?
Answer:
This is the U.S.A (Capitolism). A pastor is like a CEO of a company. They still need to make a living and if they didn't do a good job of getting the word of God out, I'm sure he wouldn't be there. Hopefuly he does alot of Missionary work.
I'm not sure. Our pastors make ridiculously low salaries. 5 years experience only gets you $30,000 (minus a housing allowance though.)
Say you earn 1000 and 10 % of it is 100 for the pastor. Pastor then have to pay up 10 % which is 10 for the tithes which left him 90. The 10 % is not only the Pastor's salaries but also it is for the church. Who pays for the electricity ? Who pays the for water ? Who pays for this and that; things which are small and we don't see ? The 10 % is God's and to take it away and use it for ourselves is robbing God and robbery is a crime. There are many dealings which we don't hear of often and there are convictions and repentence.
