Why is it that you get alot on answers immeadatly? Then ofter 5 minutes I cools way down.

because people want to be the first to answer or after 5 minutes others have said what they were about to. no use in repeating someone else
Because people search for questions by refreshing page 1 of the list of questions. Once the question moves on to page 2, 3, 4, etc... it's gone and forgotten.
OK.
Cos your answer is at the top so loads of people see it at first.
Then more are posted and yours makes its way down the page and then eventually to the second page where almost no one bothers to look.
Or it could be that people think you already have your answers. People prefer to answer ones with no/little answers and like to be the FIRST to answer.
Shoot - there was a question by some lady that is going to have a t.v. show on prejudice ...
I got my answer on page 7 . and I never bothered to try to look it up again to see if my answer was going positive or negative ...
First answers always get the worm ...
